Work History: Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. October 2009 to Present

Director of Sales - Acting General Manager on duty June 2009 to Present Prism Hotels. Howard Johnson Plaza Miami Airport. Before I worked as Area Director of Sales for four Hotels in Florida: Hotel Indigo Miami Dadeland, Ramada Inn Florida City, Hampton Inn Vero Beach and Country Inn Vero Beach. Worked with multi brands in Florida, in charge of developing accounts for the 4 Hotels, Corporate, Smerf, Groups, Government, Tour & Travel, Base Business (airlines) and International Markets.

Area Director of Sales for five Hotels. March 2006 to April 2009 Baywood Hotels. Clarion Las Palmas - Fairfield Inn by Marriott Miami Airport West and Fairfield Inn South - Hampton Inn Miami Airport West- Springhill Suites Miami Airport South and the Holiday Inn Express Miami Doral. (A total of 634 rooms). Was in charge of developing accounts for this new product: Corporate accounts, base business (airline & cruise crew), government, smerf, Foreign individual travelers, distress passengers groups and transient business. Worked with airlines and cruise companies locally. I was part of the renovation efforts, creating a product, training of the work force, also planned with success the “Grand Opening of two Hotels”. Involved in the process of reflagging of the property, branding, preparing new brochures, flyers and rack cards. Worked also as General Manager on Duty for the different properties. Strong Closer: I was awarded "Area Director of Sales of 2007" from Baywood Hotels.

Senior Sales Manager. June 2005 to February 2006 (Transition Job) Wyndham Grand Bay. Coconut Grove- Florida Worked with the Corporate Market, multinational and pharmaceutical companies. Booked, housing incentive groups, assisted and coordinated their programs. Working with associations in the United States, Smerf, Government. Generating groups for the Hotel, booking conferences and transient. Worked with American Express Mexico, Aeromexico and Mexicana Airlines to increase the bookings from Mexico. Worked with Associations in Florida and Washington DC. Assisted to Trade Shows regularly in Tallahassee, Florida. (TSAE and SGMP). Worked as General Manager on duty during the weekends.

Sales Manager April 2004 to June 2005 Doubletree Hotel Coconut Grove. Miami - Florida Created an action plan for this full service Hotel to drive revenue, a higher occupancy for the property and to capture base business. Worked with the University of Miami, Government agencies in Tallahassee and Washington DC, knowledge of both areas due extensive traveling to the Florida capital. Worked with associations, groups, sport teams, incentive groups, churches in the area and tour operators. Coordinated events in the property. Worked also as General Manager on Duty during the weekends.. As part of the Sales team, "We won the award Highest RevPar in 2004 from 100 Doubletrees in the US".

Senior Sales Manager January 2003 to April 2004 Courtyard Marriott Miami Downtown. Miami-Florida Worked at this full service Hotel in South Florida. Created a Sales action plan to drive revenue and occupancy for the property to get base business: Corporate, Smerf, groups, corporate groups including Incentive Groups, Fit's and transient. Worked with PMS and Marsha. Also utilized STS a special software created for sales. Coordinated all Catering events in the six meeting rooms available. Also worked as General Manager on duty during the weekends.

Education and Training: Currently Studying to get an Associate Science Degree in Culinary Arts from “Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts” in Miramar, Florida.
